Teaming up with old friends to speak at NETWO

I will be joined by some of the finest novelists and storytellers in the country.

I have a sentimental feeling for the Northeast Texas Writers Organization. Back a decade ago when I began writing novels seriously for the first time, NETWO was the first writers conference I ever attended.

I walked in then as I do novels. I looked around and thought, “Everybody in here writes better than I do.”

It was the first time I heard honest-to-goodness authors stand and provide solid information to help all writers improve their craft.

I had written a lot of books. I was new to the fiction game.

Now ten years later, I’m headed to the NETWO Writers Conference again, and this time I am honored to be one of the speakers. I will be joined by some of the finest novelists and storytellers in the country. I was impressed with them then. I still am. Only now I know them as friends.
