MM: Welcome, everyone! I’m sitting here today talking with Henry, all-around hot and sexy guy and hero in my newest fantasy romance, A Knight to Remember. Which is available NOW! Can I get a WOOT WOOT?
Henry clears his throat, clearly annoyed with my wooting.
MM: Oh, sorry, I guess that was off topic. Welcome, Henry! Or should I call you SIR Henry? Grins
HC: No. You shouldn’t.
MM: Clears throat. Well, then, why don’t you tell me about how you came to the Otherworld?
HC: Shouldn’t you know as the author? Stop glaring at me. Fine, I’ll play along. I was searching for my missing daughter. She’d gone to Scotland on some hair-brained idea to do research for her thesis. When she never checked in, I knew something was wrong. So I got on the first plane to Scotland to look for her.
MM: And you didn’t find her there, did you?
HC: No, I found a Fae princess instead. She kept telling me Maggie wasn’t in the human realm anymore. When I pressed her for more information, she presented me with a letter my daughter had written in the Middle Ages. I insisted she take me to her at once.
MM: How’d that work out for you?
HC: I ended up in the Otherworld, didn’t I? And I found my daughter.
MM: And someone else. Winks
HC: I know you’re referring to the queen.
MM: Yes, I am. How about you tell us a little about her.
HC: She’s the center of my universe. She smells like jasmine. And sometimes roses. That’s all you need to know.
MM: Clears throat. It’s my understanding the queen was under attack by the Goddess of War.
HC: Right. And I was the only one who could protect her.
MM: But I thought she hated humans.
HC: She did. Until me. Grins
MM: So how did you get her to change her mind?
HC: You’ll have to read the book to find out. And anyway, don’t you already know since you’re the author?
MM: Just don’t worry about that right now. Let’s get back to you and the queen. Was it love at first sight with you?
HC: Glances over cuticles looking board and annoyed. You could say that.
MM: Sighs. Okay clearly you’re done with this interview. How about you tell us about the book?
Henry Chase is desperate to find his missing daughter lost in the Highlands. He steps through a stone circle and is transported to the Otherworld…a place of dark magic and strange creatures, where his human appearance is hidden by glamour allowing him to masquerade as a Fae Knight. The moment he meets Queen Maeve, ruler of this alternate world, he’s besotted by her beauty and determined to break down the walls she’s erected around her heart.
In the aftermath of war, Queen Maeve’s kingdom has been turned upside down. She must close the portals to the human realm and send the humans in the Otherworld back where they belong. But before she can restore her lost magic and set things straight, her archenemy, the Goddess of War, attacks looking for revenge.
When the goddess captures the queen, Henry offers his life for Maeve in the hope his bravery will earn the queen’s love. Discovering Henry is human and knowing she must send him back to his world, Maeve tries to fight her feelings for him. Now she must choose—life at court or life with Henry—before she loses him forever.
