Return of the Ascendant
By Jana LaPelle
Everything she knows is not real. But what is real? She has to figure it out while on the run from dangerous people.
Thomas takes star crossed love to the next level, planetary level that is. Obviously, Kyr and Ty are meant for each other but due to their circumstances are not supposed to be together. Ever, as dictated to them by the society in which they live.
You would think being the Ascendant would count for something. What Kyr and Ty are finding out is that they are going to have to literally change the world of make that happen. I literally could not put this book down, the storyline is unique and well written, can’t wait to see what is in store for these two star crossed lovers.
Kyra is just a typical college student when something strange happens. She sees weird creatures trying to kill her and a handsome stranger swoops in to save her life. His name is TaeDane and he claims that he’s here to protect her.
When her own friends tell her that it’s true;. She thinks they are crazy too. Especially when they try to tell her the truth. That she’s the Ascendant. She’s pretty much the princess of an evolved race on another planet.
The only reason she does not remember is because it was all planned before she arrived on Earth. With her permission, her knowledge was wiped to let her grow naturally on Earth as well as learn. When pressed, he kisses her to help her remember, she starts to remember a bit and realizes that TaeDane is more than just a bodyguard.
But not only that, she was a person that she doesn’t like. Everything she knows is not real. But what is real? She has to figure it out while on the run from dangerous people.
