How can we help you sell more books next year?

Just you and me .

You are our readers.

You are the only ones who count.

So tell us.

Point blank.

And brutal, if necessary.

What can we do at Caleb and Linda Pirtle to provide the information and services that better target your particular interests?

How can we help you sell books.

Caleb and Linda Pirtle has been up and running now for more than three years.

We’re changed directions a few times.

We’ve narrowed our focus a few times.

Our goal for the past year has been to connect readers and writers and books.

During that time, we have worked with more than seventy-five writers who have produced 5,343 blog posts that garnered more than 20,749 comments.

So what have we written about?

  • Tips and advice on writing both fiction and nonfiction
  • Tips and advice on the eBook revolution
  • Tips and advice on the changing world of digital publishing
  • Focus on the rise and importance of audiobooks
  • Articles on how to build your own recording studio
  • Book reviews
  • An Authors Showcase, featuring a new indie book each day
  • Author interviews
  • Personality stories
  • Features on writing legends
  • Features on indie writers
  • Short Stories
  • Observations on life
  • Observations on the writing life
  • Travel
  • A little inspiration.
  • The bizarre and unusual, the kinds of stories that make Stephen Woodfin say, “You can’t make this stuff up.”
  • Cover contests.
  • Travel photography contests.

And we have worked with many of the best indie authors throughout Great Britain, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and the United States to produce serialized versions of their novels, It’s a good sample of writing that lets readers know just how talented our indie authors really are.

Serials have included:

  • Mysteries
  • Thrillers
  • Romance
  • Horror
  • Fantasy
  • Science Fiction
  • Vampires
  • Historical
  • Mainstream

Serials give authors a strong marketing tool.

Serials are a great way to promote books.

After all, we do link each book at the end of each chapter to Amazon.

We must have been something right.

But we want to do better. Caleb and Linda Pirtle is presently attracting an average of 25,000 visitors a month.

That’s good.

That’s not good enough.

So we are asking for you to take a few moments of your time and comment below, telling us exactly what you want to see in Caleb and Linda Pirtle during the new year.

What do you like?

What is it you don’t like?

What do you want to see more of?

What do you want to see less of?

What new categories do you want us to include?

What new subject matter would appeal to you?

What are we missing?

How can we help solve the problems facing todays’ indie authors?

Let us know what you think.

It’s important to us.

We are not revising Caleb and Linda Pirtle.

But we do want to refine it.

And we are ready to take advice from readers and writers and reviewers alike.

Caleb and Linda Pirtle is your site.

We are merely the caretakers.

Let us have it.

Pour it on.

And together we will build a Website that does an even better job of connecting readers and writers and books.
