    Kirkus MacGowan

Another first rate hit from Kirkus MacGowan! Love the characters. The Reeves brothers are so believable and captivating and this story keeps you guessing from one page to the next. I had the bad guy figured out but man, was I blown away by the reason and methods!

I was going to compare Kirkus to James Patterson but I think he is going to surpass even that guy! I encourage anyone who loves a good whodunnit to read this book! A good whodunnit and more. I think they could make a good movie from this book for sure!

The only problem that I have with Kirkus MacGowan books is that they are so good I can’t put them down!

Review by Kate Tenbeth: I’ve just finished Wrath and have to say it was a story that absolutely held my attention from the very beginning. The characters are well conceived and developed, making them and their interactions and bonds very believable, especially those between John and his brother Alan as they track down a brutal killer.

The story line is fast paced, gripping. The murders that occur are, yes, gruesome but it’s done without being voyeuristic. I won’t give away the ending but it all works very well and I found myself reading faster and faster so I could find out what happened!

Personally, I’d need therapy for years afterwards if I were one of the main characters! Well done, Mr. MacGowan, you’re a great writer and I’m looking forward to more John Reeves’ stories!
