If You’ve Got It, Haunt It by Rose Pressey
One of the most humorous, entertaining cozies I’ve had the pleasure of reading this year! The dialogue will have you in stitches! Charlotte is one of the funniest ghost characters to ever grace the pages of a cozy mystery.
Cookie Chanel has opened her own vintage clothing boutique, It’s Vintage, Y’all, in the charming town of Sugar Creek, Georgia. Always on the lookout for stylish second-hand steals, she attends the estate sale of deceased socialite Charlotte Meadows.
But she gets a lot more than she bargained for when Charlotte’s ghost appears before her – offering fashion advice and begging Cookie to find out who murdered her. As the persistent poltergeist tags along and a possibly psychic pussycat moves into the shop, Cookie sorts through racks of suspects to see who may be hiding some skeletons in the closet.
Do a clothing store owner and a disembodied socialite have a ghost of a chance of collaring a killer – or will Cookie’s life be the next one hanging by a thread?

Great book in a new series!! Fun story about a vintage clothing store owner who learns she can see ghosts. While Cookie is going through clothes at an estate sale, she realizes she can see the dead estate owner who soon becomes attached to her.
Cookie thinks her psychic friend can help her with the ghost, but soon finds out her friend is no help. A magical cat also attaches herself to Cookie & soon they learn that the cat can communicate through Ouija board & tarot cards.
The adventures continue through out the book and the ending left a smile on my face. Definitely a book/series to add to your “to read” list!

It’s Vintage, Y’all, is a unique clothing boutique owned by Cookie Chanel. She’s at an estate sale buying clothing that belonged to Charlotte Meadows, a wealthy business woman who’d been murdered two weeks before, when she first meets a ghost. It’s Charlotte.
Cookie is the only one who can see and talk to her. Living in Sugar Creek, Georgia, a small, thriving town, Cookie finds it awkward to be haunted by a ghost who won’t stop talking and who goes everywhere she goes. Charlotte says she’s not going anywhere else until Cookie finds her killer! A beautiful, white Persian cat shows up at It’s Vintage, Y’all, and adopts Cookie.
Cookie names her Wind Song, and the cat seems magical. Handsome Detective Dylan Valentine appears to be keeping a close eye on Cookie. Someone is murdered. Someone is sending threatening emails to Cookie’s blog. Who is the killer?
One of the most humorous, entertaining cozies I’ve had the pleasure of reading this year! The dialogue will have you in stitches! Charlotte is one of the funniest ghost characters to ever grace the pages of a cozy mystery. Many characters are introduced, and I look forward to re-visiting them in future stories.

This was an exceptional first story. I adored the cat ,Windsong, who I suspect is actually someone special ,and the ghost , Charlotte. This story has to do with Charlotte’ s murder.
Charlotte wants Cookie to solve her murder and in the process she literally stumbles across another body while acquiring a mysterious cat. Wind Song not only uses the Ouiji board but tarot cards. It is a fun , cozy read. Enjoy.
