Ruth A. Casie

Meet Ruth A. Casie:

Hi – I’m Ruth A. Casie and I write historical and contemporary romance. You might be wondering what I’m about. Sit back and let me tell you.

I’m happiest when I’m telling stories either chatting in a group or writing them down. I love to put my hero and heroine in tough situations and dare them to work it out—together, always together. They haven’t disappointed. Oh, they complain but in the end, their love and relationships are stronger than ever.

My stories feature strong women and the men who deserve them, endearing flaws and all. They will keep you turning the pages until the end. I hope my books become your favorite adventures.

Here are five things you probably don’t know about me.

  1. I filled my passport up in one year.
  2. I have three series. The Druid Knight stories are a historical time travel series. The Stelton Legacy is a historical fantasy about the seven sons of a seventh son. Havenport Romances are stories set in a small coastal town in Rhode Island. I also write stories in the connected world of the Pirates of Britannia.
  3. I did a rap to “How Many Trucks Can a Tow Truck Tow If a Tow Truck Could Tow Trucks.”
  4. When I cook I dance.
  5. My Sudoku book is in the bathroom. I’m not saying anything else about that.
  6. I’m a USA Today bestselling author.

Review by Margaret Watkins:

With espionage, treason, and puzzles to be solved, this novel keeps the reader on tenterhooks throughout.

Lady Patrice Edgemont is disillusioned after the death of her husband who appears not to have been the man she thought he was.

When her parents once more try and force her into a suspicious marriage, Patrice takes to her heels and returns to the one place she calls home. There amongst friends, she can be herself. Only things do not quite turn out that way.

Finding a seriously wounded stranger in her hunting lodge is just the start of her adventure, but when further danger comes knocking at her door, Patrice begins to understand that nothing is as it seems.

Nikolai Baranov caught Patrice’s attention once, and even though she did not act on her attraction for him, his presence in Sommer-by-the-Sea brings new possibilities, but unfortunately life-threatening danger as well.

Together Nicolai and Patrice find they are a formidable team, but whether they have a future together is another matter altogether.

This novel comes to a happy conclusion with puzzles being solved, but not without some sadness at the turn of events.
