Review by Mandy James:

A sinister secret is buried in a Yorkshire village. Newcomer Emma inadvertently begins to uncover the truth, but her husband Luke, his parents, and friends are determined to keep it where it belongs. In the past.

What is Luke keeping from Emma?

Is the secret as terrible as she imagines?

And what exactly do his parents Marie and Euan have to do with it all?

Linda Huber creates a stellar cast of characters populating the rural idyll of Ralton Bridge. The dual timeline enables a greater understanding of what happened in the past and gives the reader a head start on Emma.

My heart was in my mouth in places as a consequence, and I could definitely see this as an edge-of-the-seat Sunday night drama.

It will draw you in and keep you turning those pages right until the last few chapters. It’s suspense with a capital ‘S’ and highly recommended!
