Dose Vidanya by Sam Cheever
Come to Silver Hills. Where petting a cat can be a death sentence and yoga is all about survival.
Silver Hills Senior and Singles Residence isn’t exactly a boring place. Home to a death predicting cat named Tolstoy, a night manager who may or may not suck blood and float above the floor, a cook with mad voodoo and pie baking powers, and a trio of nosy sleuths who are determined to get to the bottom of the corpse in the library (maybe literally)…some might say things couldn’t get any weirder. Some would be wrong.
Dose Vidanya is Book one in a fun and engaging murder mystery series with female amateur sleuths and a couple of really entertaining animal sidekicks. If you enjoy your mysteries with twists,

Praise for Dose Vidanya:
“This is my first time reading this author, and I was definitely giggling throughout the book. I haven’t read a fun mystery read in a long time and this thoroughly sated me. It primarily takes place in a senior and singles residence with the two main characters, Flo & Agnes keeping you laughing with their wit and silly humor. It really is just a fun who done it murder mystery and I would definitely read more about the crazy mystery solving old biddies. I was gifted a copy by the author.” ~Books to Blog, Kristina
5 Stars! “This is the first book in the Silver Hills Cozy Mysteries series and I loved it. We start out with a cozy mystery book reading that is given by the activities director TC at the Silver Hills. Flo and Agnes are attending. Of course Agnes wants some sex in the book and of course there is none. At the end the ladies realize the man reading a magazine upside down mind you is most likely dead.
To the horror of Detective Peter they mess up the crime scene a little but realize he and TC might be keen on each other.
Tolstoy, Agnes cat, is known to be around dead people and many think he kills people or knows something. Then we have Flo’s dog Roland who hates Tolstoy. The two sleuth’s are funny at times and the things they drag themselves and TC into are comical. At times they do act like teenagers but I think that brings out the best of the duo.
It was nice to see older sleuths in a book that can bring a smile and many twists to keep the reader guessing as to who did what. A great first book of a series and looking forward to the next one.
