Stephen Woodfin has practiced law for over twenty-five years and authored eight novels.

His novel LAST ONE CHOSEN was a Top Five Finalist for Indie Book of 2012 in the thriller genre. His other books include, NEXT BEST HOPE, THE REVELATION EFFECT, THE WARRIOR WITH ALZHEIMER’S, MONEY IS THICKER THAN BLOOD , THE LAZARUS DECEPTION, THE ALZHEIMER’S CONSPIRACY and THE COMPOST PILE.

He resides in Kilgore, Texas, with Paige Woodfin, his wife of twenty-eight years. Woodfin has three daughters.
