Praise for Linda Pirtle: Linda Pirtle has written an intriguing murder mystery. A small gated community is perplexed after an apparent homicide. The beginning of this tale introduces the reader to Lillian; the gutsy woman that discovers the body. That morning she noticed circling turkey buzzards on the other side of the lake and a mysterious white standard poodle (with blood on his fur) that wanders onto her property prompting her to follow – where she makes the gruesome discovery. Lillian is very observant and begins to get involved in the investigation. While they are somewhat reluctant – she is oftentimes right in her assertions. As the plot unfolds, another murder takes place, and Lillian is determined to catch the killer. This story is well-written and flows beautifully. Lillian and her husband Bill are the type of people you want living next door. They are relatable and likeable characters that are a delight getting to know. I enjoyed reading “The Mah Jongg Murders” and would definitely recommend. –Amazon Reviewer
