Review by R. Vincent:

Liz Sullivan has created a story that haunts the reader with its realism, its raw emotion, and its grab you by the throat pacing. Beck Oldman finds herself dealing with a nightmare killer, someone who preys on teenage girls with efficient, calculated sadism.

Beck herself lives her own nightmare while trying to stop another: she is a disbarred lawyer plagued by her past and her own flaws. In a book that deserves a place on the bookshelf of any mystery, thriller, or crime reader, we have a heroine who finds herself dealing with an antagonist who makes Hannibal the Cannibal from the Silence of The Lambs seem like a genial neighbor.

Purified never averts its eyes from the darkest side of lost souls or damaged hopes. The story continually raises the stakes to a point that is beyond razor sharp. It is a page turner and I look forward to reading the next book by this talented writer.

Review by Mystery Writer:

Purified is a Deaver style, dark, fast paced, spellbinding thriller that definitely keeps the reader guessing. Its characters are original, fascinating and multidimensional. Elizabeth S. Sullivan’s descriptions are absolutely captivating.

Positively some of the best I had ever read. Purified picks the reader up at page one, and does not put him/her down up until the very end. What a great, entertaining ride! I could not put this book down.
