The shack isn’t really a shack, and it isn’t actually in a swamp.

It’s an abandoned homestead near Boeuf River in Northeast Louisiana.

Now it’s surrounded by a fence and cattle graze in what used to the lawn. It’s a great venue for your imagination to run wild or to settle into a cozy reverie.

No doubt at some point in time long ago, someone called it home.

Now it’s home for stories, legends, and memories.
